The August Photographer's Meetup was a blast! My friend Christine came with me and we both got to shoot. All in all, it has proven to be a good time.

Sara 'Rains' Gentry, an old friend from high school, just had a little baby girl a few weeks ago and I had the pleasure of getting to photograph her! Here are a few of my favorites!

Here are some of the pictures from the Carr Family photo shoot that I did on August 2nd. They were the perfect family for my first photo shoot! They couldn't have been more easy going and willing to work with me, my gratitude goes out to them.

I recently got back from a mission trip to Bamboo, Jamaica. It was definately a rewarding experience that I was very thankful to be a part of. We built a house for a young lady named Tamara [pronounced tom-er-ah] who was in need of a new place to live. We spent most of the days under the sun (which was tough for a redhead with fair skin) spreading concrete and building the frame. Unfortunately I had to leave early to attend my sister-in-law's wedding, but all in all it was a great time. We had a few mishaps- ie, all of our group coming down with a terrible Jamaican virus and having to go to the hospital; but other than that the house was built problem free.
